Stan ‘The Man’ Musial dies at 92

The St. Louis Cardinals star, Stanley Frank Musial, one of the greatest players in the history of baseball, a Hall of Famer in that matter, died on Saturday in Ladue, Missouri at the age of 92.

Being one of the greatest player in the history of baseball, it is really sad to know that he just left the team in no time. Some of the achievements and titles Stanley Frank “The Man”  Musial left were the three (3) National League Most Valuable Player awards and three (3) World Series titles.

Football news saddened me much lately. After reading the news regarding the Former Illinois coach, Pete Elliott, dies at 86, here’s another football name, Jeff Lewis, dies at 39. But the cause of death was not disclosed.

Jeff Lewis died in Phoenix yesterday, Saturday.

Former Illinois coach, Pete Elliott, dies at 86

Pete Elliott, the executive director in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, dies at the age of 86.

Pete Elliott was used to be an American football player and a coach as well. He has been an All-American quarterback of Michigan Wolverines football team way back 1948 when the team won the national championship. Aside from being the football player, he was the head football coach of the following teams as well:

  •  University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1956
  • University of California, Berkeley in 1957–1959
  • University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1960–1966
  • University of Miami in 1973–1974

College Basketball Coach, Rick Majerus, dies at 64

Being a die-hard fanatic of any basketball games, reading a news about the College Basketball Coach, Rick Majerus, who died at 64 from LA Times, it really saddened my day.

What I have known about Rick Majerus is that he has had only 1 losing season in his 25 years of coaching college basketball. One more thing being such remarkable about him was that he made Utah to the NCAA finals in 1998.

But now that he has gone due to a heart failure in Los Angeles hospital just yesterday, Saturday, Dec. 01, 2012, all I can say is may he rest in peace and good luck to the college basketball team!

Mitch Lucker, frontman of Suicide Silence, dies in motorcycle crash

The tattooed frontman of the American metal band, Suicide Silence, died at the age of 28 after being involved in a motorcycle crash.

Mitch Lucker was driving his black 2013 Harley-Davidson in Huntington Beach when he lost control over it and unfortunately slammed into a light pole. He died at the University of California, Irvine, Medical Center. Authorities are still continued investigating over the accident.

Natina Reed, Star of Bring It On, Dies at 32

Natina Reed, an American actress, rapper, singer and a star of the 2000 cheerleading flick, Bring It On, died at age 32.

Accordingly, Reed died after she was struck by a car in a highway in Atlanta, Georgia.

Emanuel Steward, famous boxing trainer, dies at 68

Emanuel Steward, a famous boxing trainer and the owner of the Kronk Gym in Detroit died at the age of 68 in Chicago Hospital. But the cause of death was not disclosed.

Emanuel Steward was included in the International Hall of Fame in the Boxing field. He was one of the trainers of some famous boxing names today including Oscar De La Hoya, Thomas Hearns, Wladimir Klitschko, Lennox Lewis.

TV host and Actor, Gary Collins, dies at 74

The TV Host of the TV show “Hour Magazine” and an Actor, Gary Collins, died at the age of 74.

The TV host and actor died due to natural causes after he was sent to Biloxi Regional Medical Center.

Collins was also used to be known for being the master of ceremonies for Miss America pageant.
