I found it funny when I saw an image shared by my mom on Facebook showing that the television set in the living room became small. It was actually my old television way back in college. It was just that time also when I saw image I was informed that the television set at home needed some repair. But my bad, instead of looking for a television repair shop, I jumped at refrigerator repair shops instead.

My mom just laughed at me when I tried sharing her the company which offers home services on appliance repair but that company only caters refrigerators and not television. I was totally out of my mind, maybe, while looking for that said sites. Good enough we haven’t called the company yet for an appointment.

It was just a funny hour with mom.

Now that the summer is here, the heat is also on!

Lately, it has been so hot and humid that even the air conditioning system could no longer give out the coolness that sweating bodies need. Offices and even homes have already placed faux window blinds to shade the rooms from the glaring heat of the sun.

Thankfully these blinds have been created to cover areas in a room from the direct heat of the sun. Blinds also serve as a block against too much bright light, and because summer just gives off all these, blinds now come in very handy, and by using blinds, we get to save on water and detergent and electricity since we don’t have to wash them.

Just lately, I received a compliment, I rather chose and thought as like that than a negative comment, that I am really weird. According to them, I have that uniqueness in thinking which is very different from the others.

This is not the first time I receive words like these. I know I am different. I am weird. I am unique. In almost all aspect, be it personal to anything, I do not know but I really deviate from the crowd. For instance, when we’re still planning to have a new house in our province, mom was fetching ideas from us, her children. My siblings were sharing almost the same designs and concepts. However, mom looked at me differently when I suggested a rustic decor and theme at home. All of them were staring at me with a blank and a question marks on their faces. Haha.

I love rustic decor since it’s kind’a unique, elegant looking and very vintage. The house will be looking like an antic museum filled with abstract thoughts depending on how visitors see the house.

Do you agree? I don’t think so because even my family did not agree with my idea. Haha!

After Pacquiao vs Marquez fights last November this year, the boxing arena and the fans also were getting hyped again for the recently concluded Cotto vs Margarito one-on-one, yesterday, December 4, 2011 at the Madison Square Garden.

I wasn’t able to catch the game live. I just made use of the uploaded full video of the games I browsed over the internet. But before I watched the replay of the game, I already have read a number of news articles and reviews regarding the same boxing fight of the two titlists.

Cotto indeed made the best game in winning against Margarito.

More of what I lurked this afternoon after the boxing game were local housing properties which my mom thought of purchasing but under my sister’s name. But with my excitement to get a new house in Davao City, my eyes pointed to a list of Colorado real estate properties specifically in the most populated city — Denver. The available Denver real estate properties that I’ve seen are very much conducive for a living in a city or urban setting especially during summer months. We all know that summer vacation is the only vacation for school children that is longer to be with the family and spending it in Denver, Colorado’s great family vacation spots be it an outdoor adventures in terrains, lakes and more or an educational tours on different museums. There are a lot of things to enjoy staying in Colorado that is well fitted for the whole family.

How I wish, Colorado is just so near and very accessible from here. Smiley
