Google Doodles Tribute to Queen Freddie Mercury

Have you noticed Google‘s homepage today?

It’s actually a tribute to the lead vocalist of the band Queen, Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara).

Freddie Mercury is a British singer and a songwriter. He is well-known of his some songs written in the Queen  including “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Killer Queen”, “Somebody to Love”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and “We Are the Champions”.

  1. Freddie Mercury is the heart and soul of Queen. He is a prolific song writer who wrote almost all of the around 170 songs released during the band’s entire career.

    Queen had influenced so many bands and artists alike in the music industry.

    I know this coz I’m a big fan and have a collection of the band’s (almost) entire albums released to date. =)
