Zambrano on Disqualified List

I missed watching the latest baseball game on Friday night (US time), so basically, that was still yesterday here in the Philippines. I and M were just watching Captain America and Smurfs movies. But at least, even though I missed the baseball game, I still enjoyed the two movies.

Anyway, I have nothing to check onto for me to get updated of my sports notes but the playback and news online.

I first stumbled over foxnews reporting that Carlos Zambrano is on disqualified list. For me, this seemed to be ain’t good for the team. Zambrano is a good player ~ a good pitcher!

I also have read Huffingtonpost‘s article.

Oh gosh! I really should better watch the news on TV and some videos also. I want to watch the real interview. But before that, I have to check POS systems first. I forgot to do this yesterday. I was asked by one friend to look over these stuffs online.

LOST

If M has lost his ATM card few weeks back, me – I have lost my school identification (ID) card.

This is, actually, not the first time I have lost my school ID card. As far as I could remember, I guess, this is the third time. Getting a new one is just easy like a student should just go to the legal office of the university, apply for an affidavit of loss that is signed by the school’s legal officer or lawyer. As soon as the paper is ready, all one need to do is to pay for the new ID card in the cashier’s office and bring then the receipt in the ID room. In the ID room, nothing more hassle to do but to fill up the identification form and then smile. Just that simple.

However, I still find it very time-consuming to think like I need to fall in line to each of the offices that I need to check. First, in the legal office, before, when I get my first affidavit of loss there when I lost my first ID card, I waited almost two hours before the lawyer came. I asked any of the staff if I could get one affidavit of loss outside the school, she said that it is not allowed. Only those papers released by the school’s legal officer are processed and accepted in the school. Oh gosh! So I waited then, patiently. Good enough I have had no classes that time!

Another, in the cashier, oh c’mon, the cashier teller for college of medicine in school is only one and I still need to fall in line – stand by there for maybe less than an hour before my turn.

And lastly, in the photo booth in school, I mean, in the ID room. There is still long lines of student in a very small room to be entertained.

Hey, before I forgot, every time we request or paid for something processed in school, it always will reflect on the student’s assessment or ledger which I really don’t like. My mum would surely know what my transactions in school would be if that happened. In fact, the previous year, when I lost my two IDs before, mum knew it just on summer of this year when she requested a copy of my ledger in school.

Waaaah! I better get myself some California rehabs, for me to make my mind from losing, always losing my ID card.

Well, this is my fault. But I didn’t want to lose my ID, in the first place. But I should face any consequences now. School ID card is very important. Gosh! I better apply for one this Monday.

America’s 25 Most Expensive Restaurants

I’m very picky in terms of food. But thinking how expensive these restaurants in America, listed below in the image, I guess, I don’t need to get very choosy to the foods they are serving. Take a look at the details below.

Can you imagine yourself eating in that very expensive dine?

In my case, I will really take a dine there even once. Off course, I would love to taste how that very much expensive foods are tasting like. Oh yeah! Those foods must be very delicious, I guess, and I supposed. If not, then, the thought of paying high amount of bucks must just go into non sense values.

However, if I would have some free or even just a discounted restaurant coupons from any of the 25 most expensive restaurants listed above? Well then, I would never hesitate to eat myself out there. I might I guess eat voraciously if that things would happen. I just can’t imagine myself then eating more than the usual in a very expensive restaurant in America.

University of the Philippines Mindanao Tops in the Philippine University Rankings

Humbly sharing to you that my Alma mater, University of the Philippines Mindanao, located in Davao City, Philippines, is now unstoppably ranking in several universities and school ranking sites in the country.

I actually was looking for affordable but of good quality barcode scanners when I stumbled upon the PhilStar.com news written by Isagani Cruz and was published on August 04, 2011 about the ranking universities. And I am very glad reading my school‘s name on there aside from other University of the Philippines top ranking schools.

Yay! That is really a very great achievement for University of the Philippines Mindanao and other campuses.

Kudos to UP Mindanao!

So You Think You Can Dance Winner

So timely upon checking my schedules for television viewing, the ‘So You Think You Can Dance‘ winner has been announced. Instead of planning to watch more TV shows tonight, I might instead do my calendars for blogging, reschedule my party out events and better save the date cards and more.

 

It’s not that I don’t like the winner of the of the ‘So You Think You Can Dance‘ show, but I already missed it. You know, that show is one of the many dance shows that I keep following to. And yet, just on the day of the announcement of the winners I fail to keep an eye? This has just somehow made me mad and sad.

I’ll just blog tonight. I will try to relax after this. Maybe, I could check the replay and recorded videos of the show later as soon as I am feeling better. As of now, I better work with my blogs.

Gavin DeGraw Hospitalized After Brutal Attack

The American singer and songwriter, Gavin Shane DeGraw, was hospitalized due to the attack of a group of men in a street early Monday morning.

Police said Gavin DeGraw suffered from broken nose. DeGraw is now confined at the Bellevue Hospital and still under observation, his representative disclosed.

DeGraw is well-known with his song “Chariot” and now having his newest album, “Sweeter“.

Spam Hall of Famer Sanford Wallace charges for Facebook scam

I am supposed to lurk about any cheap holidays to Ayia Napa, one of the places in Cyprus that has a lot of white beaches to relax and explore to. In fact, it is considered a “party capital” already in Cyprus. However, I am stuck on the news about the Spam Hall of Famer, Sanford Wallace.

Sanford Wallace, the self-proclaimed Spam King has faced the FBI for the alleged spamming the half of a million accounts in Facebook.

Sanford Wallace has been allegedly accounted to the flooding of spam mails in the different email accounts of Facebook account owners.

According to the itworld.com, Wallace faces 11 counts of fraud. The charges for Wallace could be 16 years of imprisonment and a 2$ million fines.

Wow! Ain’t that’s very eye-drooling? Indeed one!

Moody Weather Weekend

I was supposed to hunt for something cool to do last weekend like going to the beach, do trekking, bird watching using a hunting binoculars or anything that is an outdoor thing . Just missing those environment-friendly stuffs I used to do before when I was in college.

But since the weather here in Cebu City is not that friendly to me, it seems like a woman experiencing PMS. A very mad moody woman, it may seem; one cannot predict when and how long a sunny hours would take and suddenly, a heavy windy rainfall came. Urgh! I ended up, last weekend, staying in the house of my classmate’s uncle and slept over there for just 3 hours.

Final Goodbye

I once have tried smoking when I was in college. To know where I graduated from and what degree I completed, would be enough to understand, I presume, why I really tried a stick of cigar to puff.

But that was only when I was in college. I stopped, personally. And now, I am being reminded again, not to get a stick and enjoy one for myself, but to buy gurkha cigars online by a close friend. He used to smoke since then. He just asked me to buy one pack for him because he’s still on a vacation which is basically far from the city.

While looking for such cigar online, one friend of mine commented if I get back to my smoking hobby again. And I just told her that I was just being pleased my our friend. It wouldn’t be me who’ll be puffing it. Besides, I have already waved my final goodbye to smoking.


Indeed that was a goodbye. And I don’t have any plans now to get back to smoking anymore.
