Coppa Bambino of Gelatissimo in Ayala Center Cebu City

There was only one promised we took to ourselves when I and four of my classmates from University of the Philippines Mindanao after having the pocket-emptying Coppa Bambino of Gelatissimo in Ayala Center here in Cebu City last 31st of May this year, and it is not to have it again unless just after a year again. This means that we could only have Gelatissimo, specifically Coppa Bambino a year after we had it, so that would be next year May 31, 2012.

Right after the ice cream was served. Still yummy to look at!

Why I said it’s pocket-emptying? Coppa Bambino is a preparation of 36 different flavors of ice creams and such a costly ice cream for a medical students like most of us five (5). In fact, that time, I just brought with me less than a thousand bill but I still ended up using my debit card because I all my cash were spent with the foods and most of it were for the ice cream. Good thing I was able to check my debit card status, the cash advance I applied two (2) weeks before the day we’re supposed to meet or else, I might end up walking home from Ayala Center.

Proof of billing. LOL!
Aside from the fact that our pockets were all empty, we found the ice cream not creamy anymore when we’re almost fourth-way eating it. Because of the mixed flavors when in less than thirty-minutes (30) each 36 ice cream scoops melted, one cannot identify such flavor from the other. Just imagine a vomitus of different colors. LOL!

After 10 minutes, it because a soup of different flavors of ice cream. Haha.

Phew! In general, the coppa bambino has made us smile and bloated. That’s for sure! No doubt! But only we don’t want to have it again this year!

New Domain, Any Suggestions?

Next week, PR (page ranks) will be updated again. With my laziness in blogging because of my busy-ness in my chosen field, I don’t think I could still receive a fruitful PR in all of my blogs. I assume, my PR 3 and 2 of my blogs will all be moving down. If that would happen so, I am planning to change my free domain for Walking Newspaper into its new domain. However, I am still confused of what domain to be used. I mean, what domain name would be the most appropriate one for my WNP blog? Do you have any idea?

I am also thinking to change a domain server. I want to wave goodbye to blogspot (of google). But I don’t think this would be a great idea then. What do you think? I am still confused because for how many years of blogging, Blogspot, indeed, is the most user friendly server, for me. I have already explored other server, but I still need more tutorials for those. Or maybe, I am, again, getting lazy to explore new thing in terms of blogging? Haha.A friend of mine suggested one web host domain server and I have already visited the site. However, I still need more web hosting reviews about the said web host server for me to have more ideas and would be convinced then. Emoticon

Landscape Flowers in Taoist Temple, Cebu City

We visited the Taoist Temple last June 13; I and my roommates. It was actually my second time to visit the temple. But the first time was when I was a kid, if am not mistaken, I guess, high school that was.
Before I will share to you the new gloomy photos we took from the temple, I will first share the landscape plants and flowers which really caught my attention.
I love the green hue of the flowers’ landscaped there because if you happen to visit the temple, it has a very attractive colors, and the green environment somehow neutralizes the area. It’s so relaxing to look and stay at. I guess it’s not only me who happen to vocally expressed how beauteous the nature there, not only the Chinese, but also other foreigners who were also visiting the temple.

Indeed, all of those flowers around the temple are really relaxing to look at.

The Guess Purified Drinking Water in Ayala Center, Cebu City

Four of my former classmates from University of the Philippines Mindanao and I met and had lunch at Mc Donalds Ayala Center in Cebu City were lucky enough to receive free Guess Water from Guess shopping store in Ayala Center.
The five of us were just walking inside the center, checking for some sale items on every shopping store when we’re able to check Guess store, the sales attendant there handed us bottles of purified drinking water. Without hesitations, we just smiled and accepted those then gone by. LOL!
We actually just passed by at Guess shopping store. We didn’t know they’re giving purified drinking water to those who are shopping at there store. Smiley After there, after having me my Guess purified drinking water, we directly check for other stores which offered discounted products. I then forgot to buy hid kits for Didong’s remote-controlled car which I bought last summer because we immediately went home. And oh, I still forgot one thing, we also tried gelatissimo. I might just post those yummy photos next time. Emoticon

Looking forward for a Medical Trip

Yesterday, June 15, 2010, was our first day of classes in my second year in medical school. In some of our classes, we already had formal lecture held while in some, we only had orientation of the class and plans to be done for the whole year.
One of the plans for the year that we have discussed is a medical trip.

Yes! It’s a trip. Smiley

If I were to choose where to go, I’d rather suggest a drug rehab centers or an alcohol rehab centers. I would really want to experience being with those people who has experienced those things. I mean, I am just getting curious about their lives. I wanna know some information on how they cope up with addiction treatment and those drug rehabilitation programs. Basically, psychiatry. But sad to say, I was a bit ashamed yesterday ‘coz it was still my first day in school. I wasn’t able to share my thoughts.Up until the class ended, we haven’t had final decision where and what to have for a medical trip.

Guatemala Sinkhole – Guatemala Crater PHOTO

This huge Guatemala crater according to Gizmodo “is a natural depression caused by the removal of soil by water. This process can happen slowly, but sometimes the land just cracks open. In this case, the sinkhole happened suddenly.”

The Guatemala sinkhole appeared after the zone was hit by tropical storm Agatha. Luckily according to official information there are no casualties as a result of the sudden appearance of the sinkhole, since it appeared in an intersection. I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened if a house had fallen in the never-ending hole.

More of GUATEMALA SINKHOLE.
